Testimonials
“Emma gave me reassurance and some positive advice and coping strategies in one of the most difficult times in my life...she is very calm, knowledgeable and professional”.

“From the moment I connected online with Emma, I felt like I was in safe hands. She communicates her warm nature whilst also holding a very professional space, and in doing this co-creates a very clear coach/client relationship.
Emma maintains a calm and present manner, is non-judgmental, and in turn creates an environment where the entire focus is on her client (me). In doing this, what I really noticed was the ability and space I had to truly think, and this is very different from any other relationship I have.
Emma brings her lived experience to coaching and this is her gift and superpower. She reminded me how to support my own wellbeing whilst also helping me to recognise my own strengths through her effective questioning techniques.
Emma brings a positive, professional approach to her coaching calls and at the end of the day, she makes me feel safe, supported and more positive and able to take action by the end of each call”.

“This isn’t a testimonial I am giving lightly. It’s unsolicited, and my company and I want to do it, as Emma is simply exceptional. We believe that if you need a Coach or simply to grow in your career, then you cannot be in safer hands than in Emma’s.
We work on complex culture change and came across Emma whilst doing a sensitive project. It was emotionally tough, and countless stakeholders needed to be managed, reports written, Boards engaged, and national regulators satisfied. Emma was in the middle of this and was pivotal to moving things forward. She didn’t do this just because of a corporate requirement or instruction but more because it was the right thing to do. She was curious, actively sought feedback, and leant into some really unpopular feedback about what was happening. It’s what leaders say they do but in practice don’t always do it in reality.
She supported numerous middle and senior managers through constant introspection and judgment. She supported individuals going through hell and back, and she still carried out her executive leadership role in a fair, unbiased way that made her one of the most inspiring client leaders we have ever had the pleasure to work with.
If you need help, support, advice, or someone to guide you through your trials and tribulations, having Emma at your side will undoubtedly help. We know this… because we have observed her do it time and time again.
I wish you good luck, but instead, why don’t you reach out to Emma and get some solid support so that you can get that first night’s proper sleep for ages instead of worrying about things? It will be worth it”.
Steve Mason, Chief Executive, RealWorldHR
“I worked with Emma on the executive team at EEAST when the Trust was placed in special measures by almost all regulatory bodies, which I can say categorically was the most challenging role I have done in my 23 years in the NHS.
Turning the dial sufficiently to recover from this position was an enormous task, and I would honestly say that Emma provided the bulk of the executive leadership responsible for moving us out of special measures. Her ability to pull together all of the necessary components of recovery - human, political, and operational, while continuously holding the ring for delivery at Board and maintaining momentum, was done with compassion and a sense of humour. The way she was viewed and valued by staff reflected the impact she had on the organisation during what was a very difficult time.
On several occasions Emma had to constructively work with her executive peers to champion the rights of staff over dogged adherence to poorly applied policies. She did this by taking the time to properly listen to the staff affected and understand the impact their situation had had on both them and their families. This one occasion involved over turning historic decisions to ensure fair treatment for all involved. At times this was uncomfortable but she absolutely modelled the correct values from the top of the organisation down and set an important precedent around standards of behaviour.”
Kate Vaughton, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust
"Working with Emma as my coach has been transformative. Since we began our journey together back in May 2024, Emma has consistently demonstrated her knowledge, patience, dedication, support, empathy and sense of humor! She goes above and beyond to support me and always provides valuable insights that have helped me gain clarity in various aspects of my life.
After having +10 sessions together, I can say Emma's coaching has been instrumental in helping me navigate the challenge of burnout and most importantly, finding the way out of it. I am truly motivated and inspired for what the future holds and I couldn't have reached this point without Emma's unwavering support. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to make positive changes when it comes to burnout, leadership or personal growth. Thank you Emma for being an exceptional coach and catalyst for my personal growth!"

“I worked as a peer of Emma’s for a number of years at Executive Director level within the ambulance service. Emma brings a sense of calm to all situations. Emma’s role involved leading a number of large-scale change programmes which she did with outstanding leadership, compassion and integrity. Emma is confident at challenging constructively in Board and executive meetings to ensure all aspects are considered, to enable the best decisions for the Trust.
Emma’s support and guidance for her fellow executives was always sought and very much appreciated.”

“I worked with Emma as one of her three deputy directors at East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, despite being responsible for one of the key demanding directorates with complex different specialisations in it, Emma demonstrated effective leadership. We had clear directorate shared objectives, vision, compassionate counsel and direction.
Highly effective delivering teams and good decision making do not happen by accident it requires an inclusive listening leader, experienced and intellectually capable person at the top. I have no doubt in recommending Emma as a competent experienced governance, performance, regulatory and risk management expert and an inspiring visionary leader.”
Stanley Mukwenya, Company Secretary, East of England Ambulance NHS Trust. (Sept 2024).
“When I first met Emma, my life was at a crossroads. I was desperate to change my career, but seemed to hit an obstacle at every turn. And not for want of trying. In fact, I felt I had tried every available avenue, including collecting professional qualifications, reading self-help books and following people who had achieved success in my chosen field.
Despite all these well-meaning efforts, I had been unable to take anything more than tentative baby steps towards what had become a very pressing goal. But all this changed when I arrived at a key personal insight during my very first session with Emma: if I really want to create long-lasting positive change in my life, I should look no further than to myself and my own internal resources.
Over eight weekly sessions, Emma’s unwavering support and incisive questioning enabled me to progress from a situation in which I felt powerless to change my immediate circumstances to the point where I felt emboldened to rise about the nay-sayers in my life and grasp my fate with both hands.
Apart from helping me to set achievable goals that really chimed with my personality, Emma helped me to accomplish what all those books and training were unable to deliver: greater insight into myself and my own capabilities. I whole-heartedly recommend Emma’s coaching services to anyone wishing to accomplish meaningful life goals more swiftly and efficiently than they would on their own.”

“Working with Emma helped me move forward with a number of issues. She helped me continue my sober streak and by skillful questioning helped me realise that I would like to become a drug and alcohol counsellor/coach and help other people with dependence/addiction issues. Emma also helped identify changes I needed to make regarding improving my own self-management from managing my sleep, diet general organisation, and well-being to help me achieve any goal. Emma has a kind personable style and is a great coach”.
